TV chef Gino D’Acampo has been married to Jessica Stellina Morrison for over two decades and they share three children – but he has previously shared some pretty unorthodox views on relationships.

Gino D’Acampo has confidently shown solidarity with his wife moments after “distressing” allegations surfaced against him.
The popular Italian chef, 48, is currently at the centre of accusations related to “sexually inappropriate” conduct which spans over a 12-year period.
Disturbing accounts from dozens of individuals have been labelled as “unacceptable, distressing and horrendous” while Gino has vehemently rejected all such claims.
In the wake of the investigation into the celebrity chef being brought to light by ITV News, Gino took to Instagram to post a lighthearted video. Alongside his wife Jessica and their friend Fred Siriex, they are seen entering an upmarket establishment.
With unexpected humour in the timing, the video shows Fred taking Jessica’s arm, inducing laughter when Jessica jests: “I thought it was you.”
The light-hearted post was captioned by Gino with: “When the wife chooses the wrong foreigner! GDx,” reports the Mirror.

Achieving fame through outings on ‘This Morning’ and ‘I’m A Celebrity,’ he enjoys a solid marital partnership with Jessica Stellina Morrison, with whom he has three children: Luciano, 22, Rocco, 19, and Mia, 12. Their relationship began in their teenage years when they both worked at a restaurant in Marbella, with Gino attributing Jessica’s influence as pivotal in making the move to the UK.
However, their journey hasn’t been without hurdles – they once separated temporarily early on. It all started when a young 18 year old Gino was part of the team at Sylvester Stallone’s Mambo King eatery.
After reuniting in 1995 following a brief separation, the couple finally married in 2002, with Gino describing their union as “traditional”. He revealed his thoughtful gestures, saying, “I clean her car every week. I charge her toothbrush every time the battery is low, and I always bring her a bottle of cold water just in case she’s thirsty at night. My wife is a clever woman, she knows when to say something and when to bite her tongue.”

He shared his view on maintaining a happy marriage with the Daily Star, suggesting space was key: “We allow each other to have our own lives, that means going on holiday with our friends. My wife goes for dinner with male friends and I go for dinner with female friends or business friends. We are very relaxed.”
In what some fans found surprising, Gino confessed to Love Sunday in 2014 that he and his wife Jessica don’t spend much time together, but he felt it was beneficial: “Jessica and I don’t really spend any time together,” adding, “I think that’s one of the reasons we’ve lasted for 20 years. It’s a good thing, I don’t really want to know everything my wife does, because otherwise she will be boring to me.”
In a candid reveal in 2023, the TV presenter admitted to the Express that he seldom contacts Jessica during work trips, asking rhetorically, “What’s the point in bothering your wife to the point I need to pretend to want to make a phone call is insane! I don’t buy into it. I could be filming in Italy or somewhere in the world for two weeks and I would perhaps call my wife once, or twice.”
He revealed that his relationship dynamics are quite unique compared to his friends, who often feel compelled to check in with their wives during lads’ nights out. He shared: “I’m always the one who complains and they explain that if they don’t, their wife will be angry at them tonight.”
Gino called this behaviour “crazy” and seems to prefer a more laid-back approach.

Known for his humorous take on romance, he’s admitted that traditional gestures aren’t his style, but he does splash out on diamonds for his wife when he’s in the doghouse. “I don’t care about flowers or chocolates or anything like that, that’s not me,” he said.
The celebrity chef also mentioned that his wife has her own way of making amends by cooking his favourite pasta dish. He quipped: “She always does that for me, especially when she wants to be forgiven. When I want to be forgiven, I’m going for the sweet option, so chocolate cake with homemade ice cream – well, actually, if I’ve been really bad it’s a new car or a diamond.”
When asked about how often he seeks forgiveness, Gino chuckled and remarked: “Let’s put it this way, in the last five years, she’s changed her car three times… I still haven’t changed mine once.”
Celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo and his wife Jessica boast two family abodes: a stunning Grade II-listed seven-bedroom townhouse in Hertfordshire, alongside a sun-soaked holiday retreat on the Italian island of Sardinia, where they luxuriate for half the year. Discussing their approach to parenting with Woman magazine, Gino revealed he’s the more stringent of the pair, saying: “You can see my wife look at the children, saying with her eyes ‘Don’t even think about it, he’s not going to bend’.”
He also shared his no-nonsense policy on mealtime fussiness: “My kids are not allowed to be fussy eaters. The problem with fussy children is their stupid parents. I run a family kitchen and in my house we don’t have options. I never had options, why should they?”
