Coronation Street actress Tina O’Brien has officially called time on her romance with millionaire interior designer Adam Fadlé — and made the split unmistakably public by deleting every trace of him from her Instagram.
The 42-year-old star, who plays Sarah Platt on the ITV soap, began dating Adam over the summer after meeting through mutual friends in Cheshire. They went public in July when he joined her as her plus-one at co-star Jack P. Shepherd’s wedding.

But sources say Tina recently decided the relationship “wasn’t going anywhere” and told friends she didn’t want to “put energy into something that was never going to last.” According to insiders, Adam was left “stunned,” believing the pair had strong potential and genuinely enjoying the time they spent together.
Friends say Tina was direct about her feelings, and her decision to clear Instagram of their couple photos — including pictures from their romantic holiday in Greece — sent a clear message that the whirlwind romance had ended for good.

A friend explained that Tina “loved being with Adam” and that he was exactly what she needed after her seven-year marriage to ex-husband Adam Crofts collapsed last Christmas. But she soon realised her heart wasn’t fully in it, and chose to step back before things became more serious. “Adam was disappointed, but he accepted her decision,” the insider added.
Their relationship had started intensely, with the pair “acting like teenagers,” kissing in public and being spotted walking her dog together. At one point earlier this year, a source said Tina had “fallen out of love with one Adam and in love with another.”
Tina split from her husband Adam Crofts earlier this year and is mum to Beau, 10, from that marriage, and Scarlett, 17, whom she shares with her former Coronation Street co-star Ryan Thomas. Scarlett is now forging her own path as an actress on Waterloo Road and has built a strong online following through her videos with her famous family.

Meanwhile, Adam Fadlé — known for his lavish interior design projects — previously revealed he worked directly with Cristiano Ronaldo during the footballer’s Manchester United years, “making sure everything is catered for him” in his Manchester property.
Representatives for both Tina and Adam have been contacted for comment.
