Jesy Nelson has announced she’s engaged to partner Zion Foster just four months after the couple welcomed their twin daughters. The former Little Mix star, 34, shared the happy news on Instagram on Friday, posting a beachside photo at sunset and writing: “Just got engaged to my best friend.” She followed it with a close-up of her huge diamond ring.

Jesy and Zion, 26, became parents to Ocean Jade and Story Monroe in May after a turbulent pregnancy. In her first live TV interview on This Morning back in July, Jesy explained that doctors diagnosed the babies with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), a rare condition where blood flow between identical twins becomes unbalanced. “I couldn’t believe the percentages and what could potentially happen to them,” she said, adding that the fear meant she could only “take it two weeks at a time.”

As the situation worsened around 21 weeks, Jesy underwent a procedure to burn the connecting blood vessels causing the uneven flow. “It felt like overnight it literally went from pre-stage to having the procedure now, and that procedure is not even guaranteed to work, and that was terrifying,” Zion recalled. Jesy lived in hospital for ten weeks before delivering at 31 weeks and 5 days on 15 May 2025. Announcing their arrival at the time, she wrote that the girls were “healthy and fighting strong.”

The couple, who began dating in November 2022, have been open about how the ordeal reshaped them. “Jesy and the twins have come through so much,” Zion said, praising their “unmatched” strength. In May, he ran the London Marathon to raise money for Twins Trust, which supports families with multiples.
Now, with their daughters thriving and a new chapter ahead, Jesy’s next milestone is becoming a wife — and she’s already got the sparkling ring to prove it.
