BBC Breakfast: Naga warns viewers about Destination X spoilers
BBC Breakfast star Naga Munchetty told her co-star to “do better” in an awkward moment. During Friday’s (August 29) episode of the hit news programme, Naga and her co-star Charlie Stayt updated viewers on the latest news from across the UK and around the world. Matt Taylor was also in the studio to deliver regular weather forecasts, while Mike Bushell presented the sports segment.
Elsewhere in the show, Naga and Charlie were joined on the red sofa by BBC medical editor Fergus Walsh, who spoke about the NHS’ new plans for the chickenpox vaccine. However, talk soon turned to the rise in plant theft, with Fergus revealing that he hasn’t had any of his vegetation stolen.
“Have you ever had a plant stolen from your garden?” Charlie asked, with Fergus replying: “No, I haven’t actually.”

“You can imagine how annoying it would be. It’s one of those things isn’t it, because you care a lot about your garden,” Charlie continued.
Fergus replied: “You do care a lot about your garden. We had a little front garden where we are and we used to put plants there. Maybe where I am people are too nice to steal your geraniums.”

Naga swiftly interjected: “Or your plants aren’t impressive enough,” with Fergus adding: “Oh, I hadn’t thought of that!”
Naga then took a brutal swipe at her co-star, saying: “I don’t meant to cast aspersions but maybe do better in the garden, Fergus,” just before the medical editor quickly said, “Sorry!”

The news comes after the recent unveiling of statistics that suggest that more people are having their plant pots stolen across the UK.
