JUST IN: Brooklyn Beckham’s reaction to David and Victoria’s plea for reconciliation leaves many surprised

Brooklyn Beckham appeared determined to leave family tensions behind as he rang in 2026 with wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, even as his parents David Beckham and Victoria Beckham made another emotional public attempt to reconcile with their eldest son.

The 26-year-old was spotted celebrating New Year’s Eve at a packed ultra club in South Florida, where rapper 50 Cent took to the stage shortly after midnight. Brooklyn and Nicola were seen smiling, arms raised, fully immersed in the festivities as they welcomed 2026 together.

Back in the UK, the mood appeared far more reflective. David shared a lengthy Instagram post featuring 20 images from what he described as “unforgettable moments” from the past year. The photos prominently featured Victoria and their younger children — Romeo BeckhamCruz Beckham and Harper Beckham — but noticeably did not include Brooklyn.

However, in a move that many fans interpreted as a direct olive branch, David later uploaded a throwback photo of himself and Brooklyn embracing in happier times. Alongside the image, he wrote that he loved his family “so much,” adding a white heart emoji. In another black-and-white family photo featuring all his children and Victoria holding a baby Harper, David penned: “You are my life. I love you all. Love Daddy x. On to 2026.”

Victoria reshared her husband’s post on her own Instagram, reinforcing the united front — yet Brooklyn appeared unmoved. Images obtained in the US showed him continuing his life stateside with Nicola, seemingly distancing himself from the emotional messages shared back home.

The Beckham family fallout first became public in the lead-up to David’s milestone 50th birthday, when fans noticed Brooklyn’s absence from several major family events. He was missing from both his parents’ birthday celebrations, skipped public tributes on social media, and later failed to attend David’s long-awaited knighthood ceremony.

Brooklyn and Nicola also renewed their wedding vows without a single member of his immediate family present — a decision that deepened speculation about the severity of the rift.

While David and Victoria have continued to extend public gestures of reconciliation, not all members of the Beckham clan appear ready to follow suit. Romeo, 22, shared his own New Year recap on Instagram, tagging his parents, siblings Cruz and Harper, and girlfriend Kim Turnbull — but once again leaving Brooklyn out.

Captioning the post, Romeo wrote that he was grateful for 2025 and excited for an even better 2026, a message that subtly underlined the growing divide within one of Britain’s most famous families.
