Peter Andre has spoken of the overwhelming pride he feels for his daughter Princess as she steps into the spotlight with her new ITV series The Princess Diaries.
The 52-year-old entertainer, who is currently playing forensic pathologist George in Channel 5’s The Sunshine Murders, sat down with Christine Lampard on Lorraine where he opened up about his daughter’s career and his own new drama role.

Speaking of Princess, 18, Peter admitted: “I do feel proud. I’ve always told her it’s not about what you do, it’s about who you are. I love that she’s a sweet, loving person. That’s what matters because in this industry things can come and go. It’s a tough world, but she has a good team and I really believe she can go all the way — as long as she stays humble and focused.”
The proud dad also grew emotional as the show highlighted the online abuse his daughter faces. Princess shared a cruel message from a stranger, and as Peter read it his face dropped. “I feel physically sick in the pit of my stomach. I didn’t know it was going to be that bad,” he said, visibly shaken. Fighting back tears, he added: “I hate it because you’re my baby.”

Princess has been building her career as an influencer, but the trolling has taken its toll. Peter reflected on his own brush with danger, recalling a terrifying stalking ordeal while touring with Bobby Brown. “More than 26 police officers came to the show and surrounded the building because they thought the guy was going to try and kill me that night,” he revealed.
Despite the risks of fame, Peter remains firm in his support for his daughter, encouraging her to keep pursuing her dreams while reminding her of the values that matter most.
