Chris Hughes made a surprise appearance at Jack P Shepherd and Hanni Treweek’s wedding at Manchester Cathedral—months after Jack publicly joked he wouldn’t invite his fellow Celebrity Big Brother housemate.
The Love Island star arrived at the ceremony, held on a sunny Saturday afternoon, dressed to impress despite Jack previously suggesting on Good Morning Britain that Chris wouldn’t be making the guest list. At the time, Jack had quipped, “Chris keeps asking for an invite, don’t he? I’m like, ‘I don’t think you will pal.’ I haven’t even told him the date.”
Jack and Hanni tied the knot after getting engaged during a romantic safari in Tanzania over a year ago. The Coronation Street star arrived in style in a red Mustang, joined by his son Reuben.
Famous faces from Corrie turned out in force, with co-stars Colson Smith and Ben Price acting as groomsmen, donning coordinated black suits. Longtime cast member Helen Worth, who recently left the show after 50 years as Gail Platt, was also in attendance—making her first public appearance since her soap exit.
Chris’s appearance, despite the earlier banter, appeared to signal no hard feelings between the reality stars. The two formed a close bond during their time in the Celebrity Big Brother house, where Jack ultimately emerged victorious.
