Third man arrested after boy and girl, 17 and 15, die at holiday park as cops probe carbon monoxide poisoning

A THIRD man has been arrested following the death of two teenagers at a holiday park thought to caused by carbon monoxide.

Ethan Slater, 18 and Cherish Bean, 15, died on Wednesday as police arrest a 27-year-old man on suspicion of gross negligence.

The teenagers were declared dead at the scene at the Little Eden Holiday Park in Bridlington during half-term said cops.

The two other men, aged 33 and 42, have been released on bail after they were arrested for gross negligence manslaughter.

Humberside Police are continuing to investigate but are “exploring the possibility that they may be connected to carbon monoxide poisoning”.

Det Ch Insp Ben Robinson, the senior investigating officer in the case, said: “This remains a highly complex and detailed investigation, and I can confirm a third man, 27 years old, has now been arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter and remains in custody at this time.”

Heart-breaking tributes have flooded in for the teens, thought to be girlfriend and boyfriend.

One friend wrote: “Never in my life did I ever thought I’d be writing this, but yesterday Ethan Slater and Cherish Bean left this world together leaving so many people’s hearts well and truly broken.

“Cherish, my girl, you had big dreams, big goals at just 15.

“You were going very far in life all the future we’ve spoke about from start to finish.

“You and Ethan were just meant to be.”
