Kerry Katona has officially responded to wild rumours claiming she’s in a romantic relationship with longtime bestie Katie Price — and her answer might surprise you.
The speculation took off after a joke post on Facebook claimed Katie, who’s currently in a relationship with Married At First Sight star JJ Slater, had “come out” as a lesbian and was dating Kerry. The post quickly went viral — and left many fans genuinely wondering if the two had taken their friendship to another level.
In her latest New! Magazine column, the 44-year-old singer and reality star decided to set the record straight once and for all.
“There’s a joke article going around Facebook that Katie Price and I are in a relationship, which I just want to confirm is definitely, definitely not true! I have no idea where it has come from but it’s quite hilarious — I’ve heard it all now.”
But Kerry, who split from fiancé Ryan Mahoney back in November and is currently single, didn’t completely shy away from the idea…
“We’re good friends, but I’m not sure we’d work so well together romantically. Plus, I’ve never been with a woman before,” she said with a laugh.
“Although… with the way my dating life is currently going, maybe it’s something to try out!”
Inside Kerry & Katie’s Unbreakable Bond 
Kerry and Katie have shared a close friendship for years, often spending quality time together with their families. Last Christmas, Katie and her eldest son Harvey joined Kerry’s festive celebrations at her Cheshire home — proving just how tight-knit their bond really is.
And when Katie came under fire recently over controversial CBD claims, Kerry didn’t hesitate to defend her friend publicly.
The drama began after Katie promoted Supreme CBD — a brand owned by boxer Anthony Fowler — by sharing a video with Fowler’s partner Serena Stregapede. In the clip, Serena claims their daughter Roma’s tumour had “shrunk” after using the CBD product. Fans quickly slammed Katie for pushing what they felt was a misleading message.
But Kerry stood firm in support.
“I’ve seen that Supreme CBD has been getting lots of bad press over the last week since my friend Katie Price began promoting it and shared that it helped the owner Anthony Fowler’s daughter, who had a tumour in her leg,” Kerry wrote in her column.
She added that she’s been working with the brand for years and has nothing but praise for the product.
“No one is claiming CBD can cure cancer — they’re simply saying it helped his daughter. I introduced Katie to the brand and, honestly, I think people just enjoy being negative towards her, no matter what she does.”
