Amanda Holden’s 18-year-old daughter Lexi has sent social media into a frenzy after appearing to debut her new boyfriend in a romantic New Year’s Eve snap that’s leaving fans shocked and curious.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge’s eldest daughter welcomed 2025 in style, joining mum Amanda, dad Chris Hughes, and 12-year-old sister Hollie for a glamorous family celebration in Scotland. But it was a particular photo that truly grabbed attention—a shot of Lexi affectionately wrapping her arms around a dashing young man dressed in a black blazer and traditional Scottish kilt.
The stunning teen looked breathtaking in a red satin strappy gown paired with a shimmering handbag, turning heads with her elegant holiday look. Meanwhile, Amanda herself dazzled in a show-stopping white satin gown complete with a massive bow, a chic fur shawl, and towering heels. She was seen raising a glass of champagne in front of a sparkling Christmas tree.

This festive celebration comes on the heels of a proud moment for the Holden family—Lexi’s stellar A-Level results, which earned her a place at her top-choice university. She even treated her daughter to a celebratory dinner and posted a sweet photo of an emotional Lexi beside a congratulatory cake that read: “Lexi congratulations” and “OMG I did it!”
However, 2024 wasn’t without its challenges. Earlier in the year, Lexi faced a frightening health scare after being rushed to hospital with severe stomach cramps and bloating. Initially dismissed as exam stress, the symptoms turned out to be something far more serious—VTEC E. coli, an extremely rare and dangerous strain of bacteria.
Amanda revealed to The Sun that blood and stool tests confirmed the infection after weeks of discomfort. While filming in Spain, Amanda was bombarded with calls from government officials investigating where Lexi might’ve contracted the bacteria—right down to asking if the family kept livestock.
Despite being given antibiotics, Lexi’s condition worsened. Amanda shared the terrifying moment when her doctor warned: “I don’t want to alarm you,” before revealing that Lexi’s blood levels were “through the roof” and that she was at risk of developing sepsis.
“Hearing the word ‘sepsis’ was terrifying,” Amanda admitted, calling it one of the scariest moments of her life as a mother.
Thankfully, Lexi has since recovered, and the family ended the year on a high—with stunning photos, proud achievements, and now… a mysterious new romance that’s setting the internet alight.
